      <title>Black Man's Think Tank Conference, April 8-9, 2011</title>

      <description>&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;11&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; Annual Black Man’s Think Conference&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;       Dayton, Ohio – Sinclair Community College will host the 11th annual &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Black Man’s Think Tank&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Conference&lt;/em&gt;, &lt;/strong&gt;entitled &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;21&lt;sup&gt;st&lt;/sup&gt; Century Global Directions for African American Males&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; . It takes place Friday and Saturday, April 8th-9th, at Sinclair Community College in the lower level of Building 8. This year’s conference will address strategies and programs that educate, inform, inspire, and prepare individuals for the challenges and opportunities of the 21&lt;sup&gt;st&lt;/sup&gt; century.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;       Two keynote speakers are scheduled to speak at this event: David Lawrence, who is principal of Thurgood Marshall High School in Dayton and Tyrone White, who is a national speaker and author of “Parenting a Winner”. Mr. Lawrence will speak Friday at 11:00 a.m. on black males: collateral damage in the educational system while Mr. White will speak Saturday at 1:00 p.m. on creating opportunities in the global marketplace at the click of a button. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;       On Saturday, we debut a black male film festival. Yemi Toure, Director of the International Black Man Film Festival, will be on hand to showcase short and full length independent black films.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;       There will be more presentations, networking, free food, and entertainment. Presentations start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.&lt;/p&gt;
